Raining in the Sunshine

We are thankful for a little  rain.
And

 for more.
Even though we live in the country we have the luxury of city water for the house. However, our lake is 0nly 43 % full right now ! And we're in pretty good shape compared to many of the lakes in the west/central parts of Texas.

This is the rain in the back of my house...

This is the rain in the front !
 huh ?

These fabrics and raining in the sunshine have something in common.
Can you guess what?

Have a blissfully blessed day !

Ooohh, he is adorable! Hey, you can wear strappy sandals in the front of your house, and puddle boots in the back...LOL Lovely fabric, what are you making now? Do tell!

That is funny because even though we are up North...we have had low water for the past few years in the Great Lakes. DH told me to take a walker to the Ancient Uncle and the driveway all the way between the houses was flooded so I had to drive down there. I love that fabric especially the floral prints.

I have seen it rain in the backyard and not the fron too... and that is the oddest thing. lol

hmmm... Those fabrics and raining in the sunshine... My granny always said if it rained while the sun was out, it would rain for 3 days straight... so maybe you are making a quilt that will only take 3 days maybe?

Or are you having triplet grandbabies? :)

Love the front and back shots... seems kind of strange to be right on the dividing line. Hope you get some all over rain to help fill the lake. And rain in the sunshine brings a rainbow from all of those April Showers! :)

Like you, we would take rain any way we could. I wish I had a witty answer for what the fabric and rain in sunshine have in common, but I must be brain dead. To us, rain is sunshine at this point. Have a great weekend. I can't wait to see what you are up to....

Hi, Vicki. THREAT of thunderstorms kept me from an important fabric shopping trip yesterday. That's okay, I will go today! And my plants got watered just a little bit. No, we never had the first thunder bolt, but I DID get some sewing done!

Living in Australia mean I know what it's like to see lakes and dams get a bit too low for comfort. Your rain photos are beautiful. Love that stack of April Showers. I think its my favourite range at the moment but I haven't been buying fabric recently, it's fun seeing how others use it though.
