Full Moon Over the Chicken Coop

BWAHAHA
Welcome Wicked Wendy, Wicked Madame Samm and all Wicked Hoppers....
 BEWARE...my story is graphic !
Please fly by to visit these other wicked quilters !

As you may know, my cat, Smokey Joe is part of the Ranch Patrol,
but lately.......as the moon gets fuller.......
he's been acting..... a bit strange..........
 he turned into....

 THIS !!!

 Yes, feathers were flying !

And now I'm missing a chicken in the coop!
His eyes really are chartreuse !
You see why I chose to recreate him for one of my wicked creations  !

OH NO !
could that mean there will not be a rooster for the
That could be a fowl situation !
No chickens were harmed or plucked for photos.
Have a Boo-ti-ful  day !

Smokey Joe is perfectly wicked for this situation. I have a black kitty with the green eyes. Her brother is grey with green eyes. I love the fabrics you chose for the Smokey Joe project. The green fabrics are ideal. The BOO quilt is perfect, too. Your creations never cease to amaze. I enjoy the eye candy and the creativity from the hop and your post is the epitome of inspiration. Thanks for participating.

I have one cat who does that "one eye thing" all the time (male orange tabby) and lately the grey tabby with the white tuxedo has started doing that also! Since they're both indoor cats, I can only surmise that they are hunting and don't want to be seen! Cats must have an instinct to hunt separate from the desire for food, sort-of for the sport of it similar to humans who hunt and fish. I suspect it's the challenge because when we had cats who were outside they'd hunt birds, mice, etc. and drop them on the doorstep, like a trophy. They wouldn't necessarily eat them. I'm sorry about your chicken. Thanks for sharing your Halloween projects.

LOL, He's innocent ! No chickens were harmed or plucked for that story !Smokey looks spooky in almost every picture I take of him, but he is the sweetest cat. He goes walking with the dogs and me every day and gets behind so I have to carry him part of the way. He's at least 10 years old and weighs around 15 - 20 pounds. Every once in a while he brings me a rat from the barn. Good cat...LOL
