You got Mail

Today's Ranch Report...
brought to you buy the Head Ranch Foreman and the Ranch Nuisance...
This is what they had to report after making the morning walk about the ranch this morning........ Mama, Mama, You got mail !

It's here all the way from Sweden! My winnings from Britt-Inger !

I won this darling little Santa couple during the HOHOHO Hop.
What a different kind of Christmas they come from comparing Sweden to Texas.

She included the Swedish chocolate you saw in the photo above and this wonderful piece of linen. I've never owned linen before...I'll definitely have to make something very special with it. The colors in it are exactly the colors in the cactus right outside my door.
It's a gorgeous fabric!
This is my class project from a Craftsy class I took featuring the work of Lola Jenkins
Our subject was "The girl with the pearl earring".
I saw something different !

I saw a world globe as I studied her hat.
And it reminded me of a song... That's just the way my mind works !

The fabric I chose for her skin was a yellowish marbled tone on tone color.
I used Prizma pencils to color her hat and clothes to resemble the colors I see in the globe, everything else is thread.  Anything black or gray is thread, even her eyebrows.
Red and yellow, black and white we are precious in his sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world !
Have a blessed day !

Your lady is so awesome. You have made a wonderful piece of art. I love her.
And the santas have not met any cactus before. The climat in Sweden is to cold for cactus. I am so happy that you love the fabric. Have a great weekend
