Last Wednesday I traveled to Quilts With a Heart in Priddy, TX .
The owner and long arm quilter, Angela, hosted Jo Morton's, "Jo's Little Women" Club 12
at her shop. She prepared notebooks for the patterns and had our fabric towers neatly folded and packaged up in handy white trays. She had cute little Valentine gift baskets made up for each of us and some delicious warm cake she baked using her Grandmother's Western Cake recipe . Everything was so nice, I wish I had thought to take pictures.

The pieces for February's wall hanging project are small,
so she made the demo blocks bigger and easier to see....
she shared some tips about putting those little buggers together.

I really enjoyed visiting with these seasoned quilters and I'm looking forward to getting to know each of them better!

I took her the honkin big No Diamonds in the Sky and Butter and Marmalade

The No Diamonds turned out to be 95" x 112". Ranch Man REALLY likes it. Sew, from now on it will be referred to as Ranch Man's Star. ( Ha! One more star at More Stars in Comanche !) It's future home is our bed. The "bedspread" we currently have on our bed is "so" BIG and HEAVY it absolutely crushes you from the weight of it and has never been slept under... since we like to be able to breath !
I also won the door prize ! A package with 6 spools of 50 wt Precencia thread.
AND That's not all....the same day, I won the giveaway at Just Let Me Quilt !
And get this, it wasn't even the correct day for Carol to draw, but that sweet girl said I'm going to give it to Vickie anyway and have another drawing. How great was that !

GOD knows all the little things that bring enjoyment to our lives, even if it's a little thing like thread. My mind can't even imagine how wonderful He is, all I can do is believe His Words and ponder them in my heart.
