Quilts for Kye and Friends

These quilted love covers are all boxed up and headed to the Dallas Children's Hospital.
 Philippians 2 : 3-5
One is for Kye, one for his sister and 3 for Kye to give to whoever he wants to.
This quilt pattern is the Watkins Star created by  Amy of Sew Incredibly Crazy
This little quilt started out with 2 left over blocks from another quilt.
This quilt is for Kye who now has a new liver !
And he's doing great !
See his progress HERE
I had 4 blocks left over from a quilt I made my grandson and I thought it would be cool if they had cowboy quilts alike since they are cousins, their Great-Grandpa's were brothers.
This is for Kye's twin sister Keelee, also made from 2 left over blocks.
This quilt is made from a tutorial I found over at Cluck Cluck Sew

I've been catching up on  UFO's... these 5 + 3 more finshed and quilted, also finished 2 big red and white tops going to the quilter....I have 2 more bigger quilts I'm quilting on that will go to a nursing home, and I'm finally assembling my 2012 BOM from the Fat Quarter Shop! After that, I'll put my Farmer's Wife together and I'll be all caught up.
In the mean time I'm working on some art quilts.
That's it for me !
May God bless you with health, happiness and a passion for Him.

I'm sooo happy to hear of Key's receiving his liver. I'm smiling all over the place. I'll keep praying for all to go well and not infection or rejection. The quilts are great way to show your all support.

I left a comment on March 2 post, It will explain a little bit. The last time I remember seeing your posts was when you lost the gray cat. I noticed you got a new pup on the banner. I'm going to see if I can find a post when you got him.

Giving just makes your heart happy. I know that is what I feel every time I do so. I have prayed for Kye, every chance I get and will continue to do so.
Hugs ~Amy

What a beautiful heart you have. Kye and others will be so tickled to receive their very own quilts. Hooray for Kye and his family. Prayers for them.
Look at you working on those UFOs. Impressive. And teasing us with no pictures of your art quilts.....

These are all such wonderful quilts and no doubt Kye and his sister will love them. It's lovely that there are 3 extra for him to give as gifts too. Well done on working through your UFOs , it sounds as though your being really productive!
