A Few things that needed Do'in

I've had these Moda Texas map panels hanging in my closet for several (more than 2) months now and finally got them made into pillows for the couch... yesterday.

There's Comanche County....Texas is a BIG beautiful state and I'm proud to live here !

I've also been wanting to paint the master bath for quite a while, it was a light yellowish white, Sherwin Williams called it Ivorie. Now it's SW Latte. Ranchman came in one evening when all I had done was the cutting in, he said, "My gosh woman, it's going to be like a dungeon in here"!
So, I almost went back to Sherwin Williams for another color. Glad I didn't.
Can you guess who REALLY likes it now ? Men !!
Have a great weekend and God bless you.

Vickie even the inside of your home is definitely"Texas"! A friend of mine who lived in Houston for a while used to say, "The sun has riz the sun has set and we ain't out of Texas yet". I would crack up the way she said it. Yes indeed Texas is a whopper of a big state.

Ohhhh, those pillows are wonderful! My grandpa was a Texas man from Prairie HIlls...he was so big, just like Texas! My bathroom looks almost that color and I love it.

I would love those cushions! You are right to be proud of your state, it is a wonderful place. We can't get enough of it (when we tell people over here in The Netherlands about our trips to Texas they don't understand, they say: "why not go to California, why not go to Florida?" .. that's ok, we don't mind not seeing all those tourists from back home when we are in Texas!) ! I would be proud too if I lived there!

It's great to see you making gifts for your own home in the way of lovely pillows. I love that you are such a proud Texan. From the photos you share and the stories you tell it's easy to understand why.
I have to paint my bathroom, it's apricot, erk... I much prefer a neutral colour, your latte colour looks great!! I particularly love your tile pattern too and the cow painting is a beauty!!

I love the cow art and the color. I try to play nice, but DH likes yellow so I try to accommodate him at times. But the Bathroom when I am ready is going to be the colors I want this time.

Your bath looks like it matches the tile just perfect. I have a bathroom almost that color. Your cushions are too cute. Sew very you. I am in love with your calf picture. I would never grow tired of looking at that cute face with that pink nose.

I could move right in. I love it. I'll be back soon, to comment on everything. I'm a touch busy right now, but wanted to let you know I am not gone for long. I'll be back..*in a Schwarzenegger voice* lol

Life is short.... Make it beautiful :) Waking up to Latte....YUM! Picking paint colors is about impossible for me. I'm proud of you for just doing it. The cow in your bathroom is a touch that makes me smile. I have some furniture to paint before the weather turns to winter. I Need to just take the plunge and do it. My husband wants the garage cleaned out! Have a wonderful day.
