Hi Sweet Peeps!
I've been a very busy girl 'round here lately. I'm sewing bindings on the quilts I'm putting in the Heart of Texas Quilt Show, April 26-27th, sewing up BOM's, making a graduation quilt for my DIL's little sister, playing around with string blocks and working on a June birthday quilt for my Son.
For the past couple of years, every time Son walks in while I'm sewing, he says "Is that mine? ",
while giggling. (He giggles like I do). I made him a quilt with tee-pees on it when he was 16 (16 years ago) and he has used it everyday since. Are you imagining a tattered quilt? You're correct, it is. "Sew", Mom is working on a new one using Bonnie Hunters Scrappy Mountain Majesties. I think it will look very southwestern made of cowboy prints. He said he wants it made BIG ! He turned out to be a Big man, 6" 3" big. I have to have the top completed by May 1st, "sew" I can take it with me to Little Jo's Club at Angela's. who happens to be my most excellent long arm quilter. Speaking of that, I promised to show you some pictures of my Growing up on the Ranch quilt that I was putting the binding on.

Our friends, Nancy and Lenward put us in the chicken business.
They're temporary home is next to the Ranch Patrol's sleeping quarters. They can alert us to four legged night time predators. Ranch Man and I are totally stressing over chicken safety ! I said, "Ranch Man, building a coop and enjoying yard birds can't be that hard. We'll see.....
"Sew" I'll be telling you about two rookies raising Buff chickens in future posts.
