Since February, on the first day of each month, different designers have been releasing 2 blocks for the In Our Garden Blog Hop. One block is a traditional pieced block and the other block is an applique block. October is my month to share with you.
The first block I have for you is the traditionally pieced, Squash Blossom.
I like this block because of it's southwestern look.

Cutting Directions:
Feature Fabric: Turquoise
8 - 2.5” squares
8 - 3” squares
8 - 3” squares
Background Fabric: White (tone
on tone white)
12 - 2.5” squares

1. Use the eight 3” squares of turquoise fabric, and the
eight 3”
squares of background fabric to create 16 HST units. Trim to 2.5”.
2. Assemble block according to the diagram.
