January Sewing Begins

This is Rooster Rhapsody, a mini Hole in the Chicken Wire that I made for one of my new friends I made blogging this year. I'm off to the post office with it as soon as I get this post written.
It was the last of my Christmas sewing.
And now on to January sewing.
My Kona project began yesterday ....finally. It took me forever to make up my mind what I wanted to make. I'm going to try to get as much done as I can before my family arrives next Wednesday.
  Here's a little sneak peek...

I received a nice surprise in the mail last week from Madame Samm, the cute pin cushion that's up there in the corner of the picture, I LOVE IT.
The truth is, I've used a magnet pin cushion for years, but NOT ANYMORE ! I'm not sure what she filled it with, but I like how the pins feel when I push them in...plus they are easier to grab.

I got my 5, 1/2 yard cuts of fabric in for the She Who Sews hop, which I have not started yet. I really like this fabric much more than I thought I would.

 This one is my favorite.

Now some ranchy pictures for your enjoyment.

This little heifer looks like she was posing for me....I think she's a very pretty little gal !

LaVerne DeFazio is a sort of Santa, she gives me the gift of an egg everyday !

I leave you this week with a More Stars in Comanche sunset.

Be HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY and God bless you.
