NewFo Day !

It's time for NewFo's again, where we get to show you sewing projects that we've started in the last month. The projects don't have to be finished...just newly started. Barbara over at Cat Patches is our lovely hostess and has a Linky up, "sew" that you can take a peek at all the other talented peeps who started new goodies .
I stitched up this baby quilt the other day. I'm in the process of quilting it.
I decided to echo quilt in the white parts.
Can I get an "Amen" when I say trying to free motion a straight line is next to impossible....well it is for me !

I'm hoping my less than impressive quilting will "fade away" once it's washed. Practice quilts are great quilts to donate. I've decided this one will be going to Bumble Bean BASICS

These two WIP blocks are for my String Thing Along
I was exited about using......

THIS for paper piecing!
I got the sandwich wrap at Sam's for $11.99 !
How cool is that ! 1000 very thin papers will make a lot of blocks and economically too.

These two blocks are for The Virtual Quilting Bee

And these to are for the Quilting Angels club I belong to.

Slow go getting the binding sewn down on this baby. I'm doing the very best I can because it's going to be entered in the Heart of Texas Quilt Show in Brownwood on April 26-27
Pictures will posted next week.

This Cowboy Christmas quilt is going in the quilt show too. I just got it back from the long arm lady.
It's up next  for binding.

My little helper was waiting to hold the blocks down for me
"sew" they wouldn't blow away while I took pictures.
She doesn't look very enthusiastic does she. hehe

I pray that you all have a blessed day as we celebrate our Resurrected Savior.
